Abstract
There were no significant differences in rooting ability among the various types of cuttings.
Dormant mallet cuttings grew into the largest (heaviest) rootings. The basal and field-run cuttings tended to develop into a greater number of usable rootings than mallet cuttings. Basal and field-run cuttings had a higher net gain in weight than mallet cuttings.
