Abstract
Three prebloom shoot treatments with the table varieties `Cardinal' and `Ribier' were compared: 1) no leaves removed; 2) two basal leaves removed; and 3) all basal leaves removed. Treatment 3 produced significantly less yield of packable fruit, lower total yield, and less weight per berry than treatments 1 and 2, which had similar results.
