Abstract
1. THE BECKMAN FLAME PHOTOMETER HAS BEEN EMPLOYED FOR DETERMINING THE SODIUM CONTENT OF WINES.
2. COMMERCIAL CALIFORNIA WINES GENERALLY CONTAIN MORE SODIUM THAN GERMAN OR FRENCH WINES, BUT ARE SIMILAR TO SPANISH AND ITALIAN WINES.
3. POSSIBLE SOURCES OF SODIUM HAVE BEEN INVESTIGATED.
