Abstract
Discriminant analysis is applied to a set of wine samples from Certified Origin "Rias Baixas" (Galicia, autonomous region in Northwest Spain). The purpose is to contrast the consistency of the qualifications of tasting panels to independent data obtained through physical and chemical analysis from the same samples. We intend to build some methods for non-subjective identification of wine samples made from a single grape variety.
