Abstract
Trunk girdles with widths of 3.2 mm (1/8 inch), 4.8 mm (3/16 inch), and 6.4 mm (1/4 inch) were tested in 1972 and 1973. Also included in the 1973 tests were cane girdles of 4.8 mm width. All girdles produced berry weights not significantly different from one another but significantly greater than the ungirdled treatment.
