Abstract
This research focused on the development of a molecular assay, based on the amplification of 11 SSRs, useful to combine varietal identification with skin color discrimination of less colored/colorless mutants from a black wild type (like Pinots). The proposed molecular toolkit was reliable using both purified and unpurified DNA obtained from leaves, therefore speeding up the time required for laboratory analyses and lowering the costs of the molecular outcome.
