The instruments considered in this paper share the same technique, which is gas-phase carbon dioxide detection through absorption spectroscopy. This document will explore the applicability of this method in order to extract an useful measurement of dissolved carbon dioxide in the liquid phase and sample pressure. Furthermore, limitations of the measurement will be pointed out.
