Cook YR 1976 UL http://www.ajevonline.org/content/27/4/186.abstract AB Inoculation of the grape cultivar Thompson Seedless with populations of Pratylenchus vulnus and Xiphinema index alone and in combination resulted in reduced potassium uptake, which was measured in both leaf blades and petioles of plants in a greenhouse test. Zinc uptake was also reduced in the petioles but not in the blades. Differences in the potassium and zinc levels in tissues between inoculated and control plants increased as time elapsed from 135 to 362 days after nematode inoculation.
