Representative samples of the various solids from the major grape varieties used were analyzed for total reducing sugars and tartrates. Seed oil content was determined, and total organic nitrogen, total phosphate, and crude fiber were determined for pomace minus the seeds. In general, the results were similar to values reported in the literature for solid wastes generated from vinifera grapes. ER -
