MOG content and leaf content as a portion of total MOG varied with ease of harvesting. Variation in MOG content increased with increasing difficulty of harvesting. `Emerald Riesling' harvested comparatively easily and had a low MOG content and a small variation in MOG content between samples. `Ruby Cabernet' had a higher MOG content and a greater variation in MOG content between samples. With both cultivars, about half of total MOG was small leaf fragments. ER -
