Petrucci A1 Robert Siegfried YR 1976 UL http://www.ajevonline.org/content/27/1/40.abstract AB The cultivars `Ruby Cabernet' and `Emerald Riesling' were mechanically harvested and analyzed for material other than grape (MOG) content. MOG content and leaf content as a portion of total MOG varied with ease of harvesting. Variation in MOG content increased with increasing difficulty of harvesting. `Emerald Riesling' harvested comparatively easily and had a low MOG content and a small variation in MOG content between samples. `Ruby Cabernet' had a higher MOG content and a greater variation in MOG content between samples. With both cultivars, about half of total MOG was small leaf fragments.
