Results indicate that ascospores of Eutypa armeniacae are transported by wind for distances of at least 50-60 km. Our results indicate that in storms of 1980 and 1981 wind patterns of individual storms apparently affected the deposition rates at several Salinas Valley locations. Also, the Greenfield area of the Salinas Valley shows a consistently high risk for Eutypa dieback based on deposition rates. %U https://www.ajevonline.org/content/ajev/34/4/265.full.pdf
