Dimensions of the most important pollen aperture complex elements were established. The cultivars were classified into four groups according to the surface microrelief in the mesocolpium zone, into four groups according to apocolpium and into five groups according to the shape of their pollen colps. Three groups were differentiated according to the polar axis/equatorial diameter ratio. In terms of the polar axis, equatorial diameter, mesocolpium, and colp length values, the cultivars were classified into three groups for each character, and by the dimensions of the apocolpium and the colp width and dept — into two groups.
