It was established that the most common phenotypic ratio in the F1 was 3:1, and that seedlessness is recessive, entering into complex relationships in each specific hybrid combination. The nature and level of seedlessness in the F progeny were affected by the genome of both parent cultivars and their interaction. In the F1 progeny, seedless forms varied from 8.3% to 48.8%.
