Abstract
Bark grafting at the high level is nearly as successful as the conventional method. Bark grafting at high level is more successful than bark grafting at the low level. Vines grafted later in the season produced less growth of the scion shoots. Bark grafting can be accomplished successfully throughout the season as long as the bark slips. Bark grafting can be done by a less skilled worker, and with less effort. Highlevel bark grafting eliminates many of the failures in grafting from insect pests and soil fungi and reduces training costs.
