Abstract
Rootstocks budded with refrigerated budwood in the fall and tied with rubber budding strips gave a higher take than those tied with plastic tape. Rootstocks budded with fresh budwood in the fall had equally successful takes regardless of method of tying. Budded vines tied with plastic tape and decapitated early gave an earlier bud push and shoot growth.
