Toxic baits that reduce populations of Argentine ants in vineyards can limit their agricultural significance by enhancing biological control of phloem-feeding insects. This study evaluated the effects of toxic bait dispersed in polyacrylamide crystals and monitored Argentine ant foraging activity pre- and post-application using sugar-soaked cotton balls.
