Abstract
Peroxidase activity in Gulabi berries increased sharply beginning six weeks after anthesis. The increase was greater with ethephon treatment as compared to the untreated control and was in proportion to the concentration used. Peroxidase activity in untreated berries was associated with two isoenzymes. In ethephon-treated berries two new isoenzymes at Rf 0.68 and 0.75 appeared 8 and 10 weeks after anthesis.
