Abstract
Samples of 61 Chardonnay, 39 Sauvignon blanc, 28 White Riesling, and 33 Chenin blanc white table wines were obtained from California wineries. These bottled wines were chemically analyzed and were tasted for quality. The results of the panel tasting and analytical data are summarized with the ranges given and the statistical differences of the mean values shown. Some explanations of the interrelationships between significantly correlated variables were given.
