Abstract
Grapevines were surveyed for the presence of virus and virus-like diseases in Missouri. Symptoms of vein mosaic and stem pitting were observed. Viruses identified by ELISA test were: grapevine fanleaf virus (GFLV), grapevine fleck virus (GFkV), grapevine virus A (GVA) and grapevine leafroll associated viruses 1 and 3 (GLRaV 1 and GLRaV 3). ELISA tests showed that some of the French hybrids and American cultivars were 100% infected by GLRaV 3. GFkV and mixed infection by GFkV and GLRaV 3 were also found.
