Supplemental Table 1 Estimated marginal means and associated 95% confidence limits (CL) for each time period by cultivar, averaged across years and treatments.
Supplemental Table 2 Significance tests (p values) for pairwise contrasts among vine yield treatment means for each cultivar individually, and all cultivars together, in each year of the study. Contrasts were conducted separately for each year within a given cultivar (or all together). Thus, p values were adjusted using the Tukey method for a family of three estimates. LD, late deficit: irrigated at 100% of estimated crop evapotranspiration (ETc) from berry set until the onset of ripening (veraison); no water was applied from veraison until harvest. SD (control): irrigated at 50% of estimated ETc throughout the entire growing season. ED: no applied water from berry set until veraison; irrigated at 50% of estimated ETc from veraison until harvest. Green, yellow, and red cell colors correspond to p values < 0.05, 0.05 to 0.10, and > 0.10, respectively.
Supplemental Table 3 Significance tests (p values) for pairwise contrasts among berry fresh weight treatment means for each cultivar individually, and all cultivars together, in each year of the study. Supplemental Table 4 Significance tests (p values) for pairwise contrasts among clusters per vine treatment means for each cultivar individually, and all cultivars together, in each year of the study. Supplemental Table 5 Significance tests (p values) for pairwise contrasts among berries per cluster treatment means for each cultivar individually, and all cultivars together, in each year of the study. Contrasts were conducted separately for each year within a given cultivar (or all together). Thus p values were adjusted using the Tukey method for a family of three estimates. LD, late deficit: irrigated at 100% of estimated crop evapotranspiration (ETc) from berry set until the onset of ripening (veraison); no water was applied from veraison until harvest.
