Abstract
The major problems concerned with adequate disposal of winery distillery wastes are discussed. The tremendous volume of stillage produced in an intermittent, seasonal operation together with its extremely variable potential putrescibility still constitute the most difficult problems in its disposal in any method other than by intermittent irrigation of land.
