Most of these compounds have been previously reported. However, ethyl-9-hydroxynonanoate, ethyl-11-hydroxyundecanoate, methyl-3-hydroxycaproate and ethyl-3-hydroxycaprate are reported here for the first time. The methyl ester of 3-hydroxycaproic acid probably was formed during the separation procedure.
