Sephadex G type were the most appropriate for the fractionation and it could be used with HPLC instrumentation to allow rapid, reproducible separations in which all the process variables were perfectly controlled. Sephadex G-10, G-15, and G-25 were applied to study the evolution of condensed phenolic compounds during the maturation of Garnacha grapes in 1987 and 1988.
