This study characterizes and identifies 12 accessions using 42 morphological descriptors, three different isoenzyme systems, and 12 microsatellite loci. Several homonyms, synonyms, and denomination errors were detected in the grapevine accessions studied. Ampelography and microsatellite analysis were the most useful techniques for differentiating accessions, but the latter was decisive for correct identification of cultivars. Less isoenzyme differentiation was achieved than with the previous methods. A new Moravia Dulce variety is described. ER -
