Beginning January 2025, AJEV will transition to full open access publishing; any content published on or after January 1, 2025 will be freely available to everyone. All manuscripts to be published on or after January 1, 2025 will be subject to an Article Processing Charge at the time of acceptance. Please refer to our Open Access Publishing page for specific information.
The AJEV publishes scientific papers on various aspects of enology and viticulture. For a description of the types of papers published and guidelines on how to submit manuscripts, please download our Guide for Authors. The Guide also includes important sections on "Reporting Winemaking" and "Reporting Sensory Evaluation." Submitted manuscripts must be accompanied by a cover letter from the corresponding author and an "Author Agreement" form signed by the corresponding author. The "AJEV Article Template" is a Word file that can be downloaded and used for writing and submitting your article in the correct format.
Please submit your manuscript online to AJEV.
